Takedown is the name of a Rock Track from Tony McKenzie's new
album entitled 'ENIAC'. The music you are currently
listening to is an excerpt from the Takedown Track.
The
whole album's substance came from an original idea that Tony
had about developing an album around the subject of
computers - past and present - and way in to the future.
For those who want to know about the title of this track.
Takedown was written about Kevin Mitnick - a one time (and
probably still is) computer hacker who resided in the USA.
Kevin was particularly good (or bad) at what he did because
he eventually got caught. But at his peak - he was awesome -
and evil (if you were on the receiving end of him) both at
the same time. This track should instill some of the 'feel'
that you might get if Kevin was hacking your systems....
Takedown includes some great guitar work by Tony McKenzie,
with Bass Guitar and Vocals provided by Alan Bruce. The lead
guitar on this track - There's some heavy bits and a cool
quieter sequence (also featured on this excerpt) within - so
sit back and listen.
Every track on the ENIAC album tells a story, and you
will find that the styles are varied, but rest assured -
if you like instrumental rock - which
is modern, high powered and has attitude with something to
say - then the ENIAC album is definitely for you.
